                       What are you selling and how can you sell more?

You are at your best when providing your distinctive value to your clients. By offering your authentic service in a way that increases your client’s capability you create value for them. When you use your abilities to solve a problem for someone or enable them to capture an opportunity you earn a level of trust and respect. This allows you to create even more value as the relationship deepens.  You become the 'emotional favorite' your client calls first when they are in need.  Think of yourself as an entrepreneur not an employee.  You need to view yourself as a CEO, not an employee.  See your company as an entity above and beyond yourself.  Ask yourself before you touch a task, “Would a CEO do this?”  Give up the urgent less important tasks you routinely handle.  Realize that 80% of your results come from 20% of your activities.  Delegate the 80% of your activities that only produce 20% of your results.  Your job as CEO is to design, re-design and grow your business.   Don’t let the urgent control your life – be strategic … do what is important before it becomes urgent.  As you continue to develop and refine your distinctive value the market that you sell into will continue to expand.
